We have to change our mindset if we’re going to avoid ruining the social media experience for everybody. Everyone is jumping into social media, throwing up profile pages, and mass following / inviting hundreds or thousands of people to be their “friend”. But what strategy do these companies really have for succeeding in a new format?

You’ve heard about social media marketing. You attended a webinar. You now know you can harness Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, StumbleUpon, and more to build brand awareness and drive traffic to your website. You know enough to create a profile and begin creating content. It’s time to rock and roll.
Creating an iPhone app is a little more involved than throwing up a new Facebook profile or search engine friendly blog. But the rewards can be huge. Whether you need to generate extra revenue or become a household name, you can find your niche in a well-conceived iPhone application.
Not many agencies will recommend this step. Why? That’s easy. They don’t know how to build an iPhone app. You’ll find that most agencies that boldly claim to be “out of the box” thinkers and strategists typically recommend cookie cutter solutions because they don’t want to refer business out. Why tell a client they need an iPhone app you can’t build when you can tell them they need a Facebook app which you CAN build? Obviously, these players are protecting their own interests first.
We don’t build iPhone apps. At least, not yet. But we recognize the value and can recommend it when it makes sense. We will bring alongside the right resources to broadcast your message to the world.
If you’re reading this sentence, you’ve probably already spoken to half a dozen agencies/marketing experts who are so innovative they recommend the same box of thinking to every client that walks through the door.
If you care about your message, if your brand holds any value, don’t waste your time on cookie cutter. Reach out to your audience in style.
What is their age? What clothes do they wear? What kind of text chat vocabulary are they using? Whose opinion do they respect? Where will they look for advice?
These are the types of questions you need answered. You need to think like them, dress like them, act like them, talk like them, and walk like them. In short, you need WebSwank to bring our A-Game. There are limits to what you can accomplish, but they stretch far and wide for the social maven.
Good thing you stopped by. Talk to us about meeting your people where they live.
